my computer is passe
so i bought a new computer

i am now looking forward to windows 7, although , i haven't really mastered vista

when i first had midphase, they were a steller company.
unfortuneately they are under new management.
i had worked on this site 8 - 12 hours a day since 1992
then out of pure unadulterated greed , they destroyed 18 years of work.
i then switched to fatcow.
for the first time in 18 years, they suspended my site
they cited copyright violation and adult content.
Now i am with just host.
they do not provide a telephone number to call.
the assistance is less than fair.
i would say due to the antiquated system of reporting trouble,
which results in multiple trouble reports.
they send you an email, when you respond,
and highlight the previous report,
they can't read the information because it is loaded with htm advertising.(theirs)
it took them nearly a month to change the dns of jwow.net to their site.
i get the feeling that my email report is being translated.
in many cases, the result bears no connection to the report.
other than that everything is fine

i went to the local drug store and purchased a manual wheelchair.
i went to a local store and purchased deep dicharge batteries
i went to a local electronics store and purchased the controler equipment
i went to a local electric store and purchased the motors
each of these companies charged a fair profit
i assemebled the machine for less than $1100
i applied for a three wheel scooter
Medicare pays 80% my local insurance pays upto $1500
my share would have been $2500
on line average price was $1500
i applied for a brand name ( heavily advertised )wheerlchair
my insurance was billed $7400 and i was billed over $500
i later received a $52 dollar rebate
some special needs chairs exceed $50,000
the wheels for most chairs exceed the cost of automobile wheels
a 7" wheel averages about $50
a 7" lawnmower or wheelbarrel wheel about $10 - $15

Well we've seen the latest outrage.
Aig corp has managed to enrage just about every U.S. citizen.
being a federal, state and local taxpayer, my money is being used to maintain these greedy failures.
i would suggest that because my money has been used to maintain this company,i am in fact a shareholder or in fact a part owner of this company.
now it is my understanding : a "bonus" is a reward for the company to show appreciation to it's employees.
some companies may offer such things as thanksgiving turkeys, a night out for dinner, a christmas financial bonus, etc.
in no case have i seen a "bonus" handed for being a dismal failure
in fact if you do something to jepordize the company, you are asked to resign or risk being fired.
i would suggest that my govenment representatives examine the actions of the employees and determine thier actions
if the bonus received was actually justified, that the actions of said employee actually was in the best interest of the company and if not demand the return of the bonus and removal of the offender without further compensation.
i would suggest that all U.S. taxpayers contact their congessional representatives to act in their behalf

well this is my last shot.
after today i will waste no more time on this subject.

second i would like to point out that i never refused to do jury duty.
What i declared was:that i was physically unable to go to Newburyport.
now i have been screaming about the Mass Jury System. Why, because i live in Mass.
the same procedure is in nearly every state

do people have to show proof of sanity?
Do people have to show proof of intelligence?
if you face a trial by jury, the decision of your guilt or innocence may be decided by an insane person or
someone incapable of knowing right from wrong.
now it is easy to critisize, however,
one of any fortitude must show a just or reasonable solution to the problem
okay, here is my solution.
shoud a question arise,
have the person vist a local court or have a local police officer visit the potential juror,
one of the people above could evaluate the claim,
and accept or reject the claim.
i would prefer that a local police officer visit.
Why? because police officers as part of their training, and knowlege are able to make immediate decisions
I'm not knocking judges or attorneys but they have the pleasure to look up their decision.
a police officer doesnt.
also a police officer is impowered to arrest a person for attepmting to defraud the jury system

We are all aware of the fact that the Mass Jury Commission routinely assigns jury duty to:
2. disabled people
3. dogs
4. cats
5. children
Now let's face it.
dead people, dogs , cats and children could care less about this proclomation.
However , disabled people must waive their constitutional rights , to provide information
( medical records ) which could not otherwise be obtained without court order.
failure to do so a fine or incarceration or both would be imposed.
Being a disabled person since December 15 1987 ,
I resent this blatent attempt to circumvent my constitutional rights.
In 2006 I received a letter from the Jury commission demanding my presence at the Newburyport
courthouse for jury duty.
I called the number provided , and explained that i was disabled.
That I do not Drive .
That there is no public transportation from Lynn to Newburyport ( 29 miles ).
I was told that I must provide medical records prooving my disability.
Since that time I have contacted the following:

I have since received a letter stating that a hearing will be held on Monday April 13 at 12:30 pm

Since i can not get to Newburyport this imposes an unreasonable ordeal.
Should the commission proceed with this action, i will seek the advice of a constitutional attorney
with the intent of bringing a class action suit against the The State Of Massachusetts,

it is my understanding that perpective jurors are chosen from the voting
list.
so why are dead people, disabled people, dogs, cats and children constantly
and continually being selected for jury duty?
we all get a hearty laugh when one of those enities has to prove their
eligibility .

how does a dead person prove that they are no longer among the living?
how does a disabled person who has submitted medical records, had a judge

has been on social security since 1990.

the judge is no longer serving .
i feel that some unknown individual is perpertating this fraud on potential
victims while hidding behind the skirts of government.

as of this writting there has been no response.
it is my understanding that perpective jurors are chosen from the voting list.
so why are dead people, disabled people, dogs, cats and children constantly and continually being selected for jury duty?
we all get a hearty laugh when one of those enities has to prove their eligibility .
perhaps it is because they can't
when one becomes a victim, it is no longer humorous.
how does a dead person prove that they are no longer among the living?
how does a disabled person who has submitted medical records, had a judge write a letter in his behalf
has been on social security since 1990.
does not drive, has not held a job since his stroke.
i feel that the records have been expunged.
the doctor has moved out of state.
the judge is no longer serving .
i feel that some unknown individual is perpertating this fraud on potential victims while hidding behind the skirts of government.
what right does this individual have to besmirch my character?
i had served on juries between the 1960s and 1980s
in Newburyport, Salem Lawrence and Lynn
now i can't answer the charge lodged against me ,
Newburyport is 29 miles away.
my wheelchair will only take me 15 miles.
this low life coward should be castigated for their actions.

As many of you have all ready noted, i have been reconstructing my site.
due to a 2000 file restriction per folder i have created 85 new folders, moved over 20,000 files, altered over 3000 other files and rewrote300 files
in the last 3 days and this is just the tip of the iceberg,
many of us strive for excellance, others have more base motives.
it seems if we tag something with the moniker security, it makes anything plausible.
the truth is it only takes one file to corrupt a hard drvie.
my problem is why is my 10 year clunker with its 475 meg cpu faster and more efficient than a cutting edge server?

i estimate the cost at 200 billion.

when the contenders run out of ammunition, they attack any personal weakness that they can find in their adversary.
this is when the dirty tricks start.
if they can't belittle the ability, they attempt to belittle the character
once you realize this, it becomes easy to select a president
you just pick the one who represents the party whose philosophy you wish to see carried out
in the next 4 to 8 years

we are bailing out people who made loans with money they didn't have,
to people who couldn't pay, to the the tune of 700 billion dollars to start with.
Why?
if somebody tried to sell the same piece of art to 6 different people,

and not only do we not penalze them, we reward them
ask mastercard, visa, bank of america, the bank down the street,
is money tight? yes. why, somebody is stealing it.

their pockets. do you actually think it will stop at 700 billion?

the average person pays ss for 20 years his employer matches it plus.
the average person dies after two years of retirement
some never live to collect social security

people are dying from starvation or war.
We are consistantly being lied to.
No amount of oil exploration will resolve the problem
Why, because over 80 oil distilleries have been closed, and no no new ones added
we can't handle additonal oil
our bridges are broken
our roads are ruined
our air is poisoned
our atmosphere is overheating
our education system has been compromised
they say history repeats

WIND :
a small number of people have converted to wind driven generators
to make electricity.
the problem is that wind is not constant and the technology for storing electricity is poor.
although storage batteries have improved greatly over the years,
they are only about 15% effective.
SOLAR PANEL:
these come in two flavers:
1. solar flatplate collecters:
these use the heat from the sun to heat a medium(such as water)
to produce heat and hot water.
the problem is the sun and the storage of the medium.
the sun doesn't shine every day and it takes thousands of gallons of water.
2. reflectors:
mirrors have been used successfully to make steam to drive generators.
a series of mirrors reflect sunlight to focus on a certain location to produce intense heat.
mirrors of been used to make solar campstoves,and to barbarcue.
a mirror farm has been set up in the Mohave Desert which electrically powers hundreds of homes.
it is estimated that there enough room to power the whole United States
the drawback: cost and delivery
SOLAR CELLS:
most solar cells are made from silicon.
they convert sunshine directly to electricity.
the problem with these cells is they are only effective in the the infrared spectum.
the average cost is about $35 a watt.
one company has produced a method of thin film printing which lowers the cost to about $0.99 a watt.
a study of combining indium and gallium has shown the possibility of producing a full spectrum
phtovoltic cell.
there has a been a surge of hydrogen studies
it is expected that hydrogen will become the fuel of the future, at least in the automotive field.
it can be said that the technology is in its infancy, and that there will be no quick solution.
the best that one can do, is to conserve.
the average cost of electricity in my neck of the woods(Massacusetts) is about
600kw a month
shut off tvs radios coffee pots by pulling the plug.
most units today, still use about 40% of their power when shut off
that's why they're instant on, they're not off
shut off the computer, the amp, the modem, the display.
or get multiple circut extensions with shutoff switchs.
the biggest electricty hog is the frige
if it over 10 years old, get a newer smaller more efficient one
do you really need the water and ice cubes on the door?
that sucker uses about 40% of your electricity
reduce heat to 68 degrees.
reduce cooling to 80 degrees
consider a tankless water heater
i went from a 40 gallon eletric water heater to a tankless water heater
i cut my electric bill by 50%
i'm not heating water 24 hours day for a 20 minute dayly shower, or a weekly clothing wash.
a tankless heater only heats when you turn the tap on.
they come in 2 sizes whole house or point of use.
they come in
gas, electric, or propane.
I have a heat pump.
in the winter it's a furnace
in the summer an air conditioner
buy an electronic thermostat
get a humidifier, moist air holds more heat than dry air
shut it down in the summer
convert from incandescent to florescent lights
an 18 watt florescent bulb produces as much light as a 60 watt incandescent
a 23 watt florescent bulb produces as much light as a 90 watt incandescent

Get rid of the extra clocks.

i have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, a microwave,an entertainment center, a computer. my living room is 20' x 20', my bedroom is 14' x 20'
my electric bill averages $80 a month less than $1000 a year for everything.
i don't have an oil bill and i don't have a gas bill
invest in a locking gas cap.

i remember when bread was .19 a loaf, and milk was .27 a quart, gasoline was .19 9/10 a gallon for high test (100 + octane ), and you could stick a quarter in the cigarette machine and there would be 2 cents taped to the side of the pack.
